Job Description & Summary

  • The individual in this position will be accountable for the overall client relationships, optimising team performance, identifying and enabling opportunities. The individual will be required to deliver operational excellence to our clients by providing strategic proactive service, support and advice that enables them to optimise and transform their business performance.
  • They will manage a range of operational marketing problems of diverse scope and take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions without requiring guidance, except where escalating to management is appropriate. The Account Manager’s responsibilities include maintaining a thorough knowledge of our business offerings, developing and implementing strategic plans to grow accounts, managing and strengthening client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver on client expectations.
  • The individual is considered a functional subject matter expert and must have a strong understanding of our clients’ expectations and the way we work.


  • Serve as primary day-to-day liaison with assigned clients and maintain positive ongoing relationships.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while interfacing with different internal and external stakeholders.
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to manage and grow accounts.
  • Communicating and coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing new tools and processes.
  • Developing and maintaining excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors, and industry.
  • Retaining clients and building strong, trusting relationships.
  • Understanding client needs and identifying new business opportunities within your portfolio.
  • Providing superior customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 – 8 years of proven experience in the marketing communications industry.
  • Experience managing multinational portfolios.
  • Ability to maintain a courteous and professional demeanour in all dealings.
  • Strong customer service and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office softwares.
  • Strong Team & Leadership Experience.
  • Strong customer focus, client support and client relationship management skills
  • Strong abilities in organisational, conceptual, and logical problem solving.
  • Proven ability to establish productive working relationships with staff and management at all levels.
  • Solid inter-personal skills.
