    Job Roles and Responsibilities

    The role of a Business Development Executive is to drive sales and growth efforts by contributing to new customer acquisition. He/she should be able to provide ideas to attract new clients and keep management updated about marketplace and competitor activity. Your primary role and responsibilities as a Business Development Executive include:

    • research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets
    •  Have and build appropriate contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities
    • Keep prospective client database updated, setting up meeting (cold call, virtual and face to face)
    • Plan, prepare and present business proposals, presentation ppt. webinars and product demo
    • Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company
    • Overseeing the development of marketing literature and organization digital presence including LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
    • Create sales campaign and plan sales pipeline
    • Follow company guidelines and procedures for acquisition of customers, submission of tenders etc.

    Competencies and Skills Required

    • A good knowledge of Data Protection Regulatory Compliance, Cyber Security and Information Security Management System. A Professional certification in any of these will be an added advantage
    • Must be very confident and possess strong customer service skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Excellent use of social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube)
    • Must have good negotiation skills
    • Must be able to create and deliver good presentations and webinars
    • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
    • Must be detail-oriented and an active listener
    • Ability to work under pressure
