    Job Description

    • Monitor food stock and place orders
    • Check freshness of food and discard outofdate items
    • Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
    • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
    • Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales
    • Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
    • Cook food in a timely manner.


    • Applicants must reside in Abuja
    • Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook
    • Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques.
    • A minimum of 5 years experience and above in the hotel industry
    • Kitchen chefs/cooks must be experienced in the preparation of vast national (local) and continental food menus.
    • The candidate must be experienced in catering for outdoor events on a regular basis.
    • The candidate must be able to develop and implement a strict hygienic food preparation process in the kitchen area.
