We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Chef de Partie
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within the speciality section.
- Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations.
- Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality.
- Enforce strict health and hygiene standards.
- Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes.
- Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.).
- Assisting with the management of health and safety.
- Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices.
- Monitoring portion and waste control
- Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards and collaboration with colleagues
Requirements and Skills
- Must possess minimum of OND in any of the Nigeria Institution.
- Applicant must have 4 to 6 years experience in a 5-star hotel.
- Applicant must have Italian Cuisine experience.
- Applicant must be flexible to work in a shift.
- Excellent presentation skills.
Salary
N60,000 – N90,000 monthly
