Job Description

  • The objective of a digital marketing specialist is to develop strong and innovative strategies to promote the business.
  • A digital marketing specialist is expected to effectively use all marketing tools and techniques like PPC, SEO, SEM, email, social media, and display advertising to build brand visibility and product retention.
  • Ensure that the brand message is consistent and assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers.

Job Responsibilities
The Digital Marketing Specialist responsibilities include:

  • Planning and executing all digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
  • Maintaining brand social media presence across all digital channels and assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns
  • Design, build and maintain brand’s social media presence
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Create landing pages and optimize the user experience
  • Create and execute standard digital marketing campaigns that convert
  • Craft email marketing messages that convert and increase subscribers to the existing email list
  • Run Pay Per Click advertising
  • Perform SEO related functions
  • Content Marketing – Produce valuable content on a consistent basis
  • Create infographics based on research or surveys
  • Manage brand website and maintain it, keeping best practices in mind
  • Optimize content for the website and social media platforms
  • Work with various content formats such as blogs, videos, audio podcasts, etc
  • Track the website traffic flow
  • Implement and analyze performance metrics
  • Provide internal reports on a regular basis
  • Execute new and creative collaborations among technologies and platforms
  • Conduct social media audits to ensure best practices are being used
  • Monitor key online marketing metrics to track the success
  • Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter,
  • Instagram, YouTube Facebook, etc.)
  • Launch optimized online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook, etc. to increase company and brand awareness
  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization, etc.)
  • Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update the website
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends, etc.)
  • Acquire insight into digital marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
  • Plan and manage all phases of the digital marketing department including marketing database, email, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Improve and control campaign budgets.
  • Work with advertising and media experts to develop marketing outcomes.
  • Recognize the newest trends and technologies affecting the industry.
