About the Role
The portfolio and complexity of our work are growing. We are looking for someone who can lead the operational aspects of our work, ensuring that our support functions, policies, processes and systems are aligned and responsive to the needs of our country programmes and our operational performance meets internal and external global standards.
You have relevant professional qualification and extensive knowledge of development and programming in an international NGO setting. You are well conversant with business processes and organisational development and a good track record of supporting organisations through periods of change and growth. You are a strategic thinker and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and collaborate with others to find solutions. You excel in a fast-paced and diverse work environment with multiple demands on your time. You pay keen attention to detail and at the same time provide leadership for new processes and ways of working that strengthen our delivery. You are a confident leader with considerable experience in long-distance performance management and coaching.
This role can be based in the Christian Aid offices in DRC, Burundi or Nigeria
This role requires applicants to have the right to work in the country where this position is based. Nationals and permanent residents of locations specified are encouraged to apply.
Salary & Currency: The Salary and Currency for this role will be aligned to Band B-low of the Country Payscale where the role will be based and will be offered as appropriate based on the ranges below:
Burundi: Band B-High – Salary Range: CFA 134,921,826 P.A – 143,855,519 P.A
DRC: Band B-High – Salary Range**:** USD 84,211 P.A – 94,082 P.A
Nigeria: Band B-High – Salary Range**:** NGN 26,305,077 P.A – 29,915,515 P.A
