ValueMedia Advertising Limited is a Technology and Media Advertising solutions provider. Established in 2011 as a limited liability company. They are the largest in-transit advertising company in Nigeria, with over 6 million viewers on a monthly basis.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager

Location: Yaba, Lagos

Employment Type: Volunteer

Job Purpose

  • To increase the organization’s clientele base and collectively grow a number of transit advertising revenue streams

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with agencies and brand marketing executives to breed strategic marketingor revenue opportunities for the company.
  • Generate Leads, Identify and manage prospective clients.
  • Advise clients on market conditions, prices, and other details.
  • Develop content for sales presentations or other materials.
  • Evaluates marketing and sales results on an ongoing basis and adjusts where needed.
  • Gather customer or product information to determine customer needs.
  • Reports marketing and sales results and budget updates to key stakeholders and partners in a clear and consistent manner.
  • Create a strong performance culture for the marketing and sales team.
  • Delivers marketing and sales results on time and on budget.

Educational Qualifications

  • At least 3 – 5+ years’ experience in related field or environment developing and driving public and private partnerships.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Self-driven and able to work independently yet collaboratively with teams.
  • Must be aggressive and self-motivated.
  • Ability to write compelling proposals.
  • Background in an account manager or client service in a media, event, creative or PR agency.
  • You have experience working in a transactional business, managing multiple opportunities and projects at the same time.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment.
  • Up-to-date aptitude in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fast thinking and a brilliant handle on cognitive numerical calculations.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible Availability (including weekends, and holidays).

Salary

Highly Negotiable.
