Job Title: Team Lead, Institutional Sales – Mixta Real Estate Plc

Location: Nigeria

Description

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving the institutional sales target for Mixta Real Estate Plc in the financial year. S/he will develop and execute business development strategies that will see to the actualization of the sales revenue targets. Main responsibilities of the job holder include but are not limited to:
  • Identify opportunities and develop relationships with institutional organizations/investors/asset managers that will lead to sales
  • Meet institutional sales revenue targets
  • Develop an institutional sales strategy, client services strategy and manage client services by building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with existing and new clients
  • Lead in the development of presentations for institutional sales, prepare presentations, AND Co-ordinate relevant marketing materials for institutional sales.
  • Providing information and recommending new real estate opportunities within Mixta portfolios
  • Interface with senior mgmt. to lead institutional sales engagement and high-level briefings with C-suite executives
  • Leverage Mixta’s relationship with existing other and institutions by proactively identifying the real estate needs and providing solutions through marketing products available or custom-made real estate opportunities
  • Work actively to convert corporate clients to subscribe to the NHF scheme, to boost prospective uptake of Mixta products
  • Conduct weekly/monthly reports to management on institutional sales targets, achievements, enquiries and clients feedback

Responsibilities

  • Share knowledge on institutional sales strategy with Mixta Africa subsidiaries from time to time.
  • Collect inquiries, complaints of customers and handle appropriately
  • Analyzing sales metrics to determine whether current strategies/approach are effective
  • Generate corporate leads and actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
  • Work collaboratively with the Customer Experience unit to develop superior clients services and corporate experiences for the institutional market.
  • Collaborate with marketing team on products and sales materials to ensure they are current and focused for the applicable presentation, conference, or opportunity
  • Participate on behalf of Mixta in exhibitions, conferences or events that will bring about brand visibility and translate to sales
  • Ensure collections of installments from corporate clients in timely and efficient manner
  • Implement global sales target setting with line manager so as to achieve set targets

Key Deliverables:

  • Deliver high level institutional sales strategy targeted at meeting set targets
  • Monthly sales report, showing actuals versus sales targets as well as challenges and proactive measures to be taken
  • Settlement of customer’s complaints
  • Generate institutional sales opportunities by identifying relevant target market
  • Achieve Sales Target

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in institutional sales, with strong corporate and institutional or private banking experience
  • Relevant experience in real estate sales, especially in domestic market

  • Understanding of the real estate market and needs of customers
  • Familiar with the country’s real estate brokerage market
  • Strong business presence, professional confidence, communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to close transactions
  • Strong negotiation, relationship management and sales skills
  • Exceptional customer service and client experience skills
  • Proven sales management experience
  • Must be able to work with different people at different levels of the organization
